Leh Ladakh Tour

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On arriving in Delhi, you would be greeted and transferred to a hotel by our representative. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
In the morning, you will set off for the amazing Delhi tour. You would tourist attractions like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, Birla Temple, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, and President’s House. Also visit the fabulous shopping centres like Connaught Place, Sarojini Nagar, Lajpat Nagar and South Extension. Watch the sound and light show at Red Fort in the evening. Stay over night at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Shimla
Early morning drive to Shimla, situated at a distance of about 343 km. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Shimla is very popular hill station situated in the foothills of the Himalayas, about 2214m above sea level, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Here, you would see the old world charm of colonial buildings, quaint cottages and charming walks. Go for a stroll on the Mall Road. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Shimla - Manali
Morning drive to Manali, situated at a distance of about 270 km. On arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Manali is another very popular tourist attraction situated near the end of the valley on the National Highway leading to Leh. The scenic beauty of the place would mesmerize you. You enjoy seeing snow-capped mountains, deodar and pine trees and fruit orchards. The Beas River crosses through Manali.
Go for an exciting Manali sightseeing tour to Vashist hot water spring and temple situated on the left bank of river Beas towards Rohtang Pass. Enjoy stimulating bath in the hot springs. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Manali – Jispa
Early morning, you drive to Jispa,145 km away. It is a bridge between the fertile and green Kullu valley to the stark barren region of Ladakh. You start driving up the snaky mountain roads till reaching Rohtang Pass at 3,950 Mts. On the other side of the Pass, you see the Lahaul Valley. On reaching here you will feel the Buddhist culture.
Overnight in deluxe tents.
Day 06: Jispa – Sarchu
In the morning, you will drive over the fascinating Baralacha Pass (4880 Mts.). You will see the superb scenic landscape with majestic snow-capped peaks and beautiful lakes. After travelling over the Pass you will descend to Sarchu plains at an altitude of 4200 Mts. Overnight in deluxe tents.
Day 07: Sarchu – Leh
After having your breakfast, you will drive to Leh at distance of 170 km. You would cross through the Lachlang pass. Then, the drive over the Keyang Shu Plains is awesome for 40 km along the Tibetan plateau. Driving at the average altitude of 4000 metres is just superb. There is a temple and the Indian army post which offers you free tea or coffee.
Then, the drive along the Indus valley is unbelievable up to Leh. Upon arrival in Leh - check in at hotel.
Leh is the capital of Ladakh, autonomous province of Jammu and Kashmir. It is bordered by Pakistan, China and Chinese occupied Tibet.

Day 08: Leh - Stok Palace - Leh city
In the morning, you would go for Leh city tour. Visit Stok Palace situated at a distance of 17 km. The Stok Palace has fantastic museum housing period costumes and jewellery of the royalty. There are superb paintings depicting the life of Sakya Muni. You will see items like armour, weapons, precious jade and porcelain, etc.
Leh is situated on the ancient Asian Silk Route. The main bazaar is superb place to explore. You would find cheerful crowd buying curios and jewellery like pearls, turquoise, coral, malachite, lapis lazuli and many other kinds of semi-precious stones, as well as curiously carved Yak-horn boxes, quaint brass locks, china or metal bowls etc.Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Leh - Shey - Thikshey - Hemis – Leh
In the morning, you will go for a full day sightseeing tour of Shey, Thikshey & Hemis.
Shey Palace is situated around 15 km away from Leh. It was built by Deldan Namgyal as a memorial to his father, Singay Namgyal, in 17th century. The palace houses a three storey copper statue of Buddha . Also visit the Thiksey Gompa, the monastery located 17km on the main highway from Leh in the direction of Manali. It is the most important and richest Gompa in Ladakh dedicated to Guru Padama Sambhava the great Indian teacher & philosopher. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Leh - Delhi
Morning transfer to the airport for boarding the flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi transfer to the international airport for onward journey. This is the end of your Fantastic Leh Ladakh tour.
